I’ve always believed that travel can be more than a vacation. The places children encounter, people they meet, foods they taste, and moments that surprise them can quietly shape how they see the world and themselves.
Traveling With Youn Children Changed the Way I Saw Travel
Traveling with young children taught me something else: extraordinary family travel doesn’t happen by accident.
Sleep schedules, time zones, transportation, energy levels, meals, weather, and a hundred seemingly small decisions can determine whether a beautiful journey feels effortless or exhausting.
I began to see that the best family travel isn’t simply about finding the right destination.
It’s about designing the experience around the people experiencing it.
My Work Taught Me How to Think About Complexity
My professional background is in risk and project management, where I learned to anticipate complexity, identify risk, and build systems that make complicated things work.
I bring that same discipline to family travel.
I look beyond the destinations to understand the family traveling there, including the children’s personalities and rhythms, the parents’ priorities, and the experiences that might become meaningful years from now.
